For me drawing is the most immediate and intimate form of artistic self expression.
Line most often is the fundamental activity I use to make my Art – the foundation block.
The sense of energy and expression that can be communicated by strokes of pencil, pen and brush is, to me, always magical.
The challenge for me is to capture Light and Mood as I build on Line with Shape Hue Intensity and Tone and be true to my own artistic integrity.
“50 Pieces” represent my journey, over the last three years, with Points in Space – Lines – drawing from the model and the landscape, both external and internal, clothed in colour or left naked in their innocence.
I invite you to come, suspend expectations, and engage the reality of the moment and experience with me my journey into Line, Shape, Hue, and Intensity and Tone.
