Biography
Painting
Harry Bryden has been painting in one form or another for all of his life. He has had little formal Art training, but has taken advantage of a number of courses and workshops over the years. The earliest art classes were with Ann Henderson in the 1940s and later with Pierre Lelong doing life drawing. In the late 1950's and 1960's he attended a number of courses sponsored by the University of the West Indies Extra-mural Department. At these classes he studied Oil Painting, successively with Nancy Richards, Pat Chu Foon, James Boodhoo, and Sybil Atteck. In the 1970's he switched to Watercolours and took a number of one week workshops in North America. These were :

Costumes
In addition to painting, Bryden has designed and produced costumes for a number of theatrical presentations in Trinidad.
