CAMILLE KING

Artist’s Statement
I grew up surrounded by greenery in the Northern Range, and that has had a major influence on my work.  Actual places inspire but the pieces combine graphic representations with strong colour, a bit unexpected for watercolour.  The medium allows for explorations in colour.  I am a fan of artists such as Winslow Homer, Jim Couper and Janet Fish.
