RICARDO NANTON
Best known in Trinidad as a Painter, and Founder of The Immortelle Theatre. Nanton exhibited internationally with One-Man shows in his native island Trinidad as well as St. Vincent, Barbados, Venezuela, New York and Mustique. 

Nanton has worked as an Artist for over a period of thirty (30) years and has worked along with some of the most illustrious Artists of the Caribbean.  This versatile and prolific Artist has produced an enormous volume of work with One-Man shows at Gallery 1234, Art Creators, Horizons Framing and Décor and The Taller Latino Americano in New York.

From Fine Art to Hand Painted Fabric, Murals, Accessories, Interiors, Faux Finishes, Trompel’oeil  are just part of this Artist’s accomplishments.  In Mustique and Trinidad, Nanton has also done what he calls Art-On-Floors for two houses in Mustique and a Hotel in Grand Riviere, Trinidad and several cities in the Western Hemisphere.

Nanton was educated at St. Mary’s College and Parsons College in New York City and tutored by some of Trinidad’s leading Artists like MP Alladin.  Nanton also designed a band for Edmund Hart – one of Trinidad’s Band Leaders.  He also worked as a Commercial Artist for Syncreators and directed major theatrical events in the Caribbean and Japan. 

Born in Trinidad in 1953, Nanton continues working and has completed eighteen Murals for the Caribbean’s Exhibit and the Royal Bank at the Caribbean Expo in 98.
